Olive Wood Scent Diffuser – Room fragrance without flame or electricity
Share
For those who love pure essential oils but don't want an open flame – or don't need a power outlet – there's now a third option: our olive wood scent diffuser box.
How does the scent diffuser box work?
The principle is as simple as it is effective. Inside the box are olive wood shavings – natural, absorbent, and ideal as a carrier for essential oils. Place a few drops of the desired oil onto the shavings, open the lid, and let the scent spread. When the desired intensity is reached, close the lid again.
No electricity. No flame. No timer. No forgetting.
The release is passive and gentler than with an electric diffuser: the oil is not atomized or heated, but slowly and evenly releases its scent into the room air.
Particularly suitable: Households with children
In households with toddlers and babies, an open flame (candle) is often not an option – and an electric diffuser that continuously nebulizes essential oil into the air is not always ideal near small children.
The scent diffuser box is in between: passive, gentle, controllable. Lid open for a few hours, lid closed for the night. And because the dosage can be determined by the number of drops, the intensity can be precisely controlled.
Note on oil selection: Even with the scent diffuser box, the choice of oil remains crucial. For rooms with toddlers, we recommend mild oils such as lavender or cedarwood. Peppermint, eucalyptus, camphor, and cinnamon should generally be avoided in rooms with babies and toddlers.
Households with pets – an important difference
Those who have cats or dogs and still want to use essential oils at home often face a difficult decision. In this context, the scent diffuser box is gentler than an electric diffuser because it releases the substances slowly and in low concentrations – no continuous nebulization that quickly fills the room with high oil concentrations.
However: Even the scent diffuser box does not make certain oils safe for animals. Cinnamon oil, clove oil, tea tree oil, and peppermint oil are considered critical for cats and dogs and should generally not be used in their vicinity. With lavender, cedarwood, or amyris (sandalwood), however, aromatherapy can be carefully and consciously used in pet households – in well-ventilated rooms, with a retreat option for the animal.
For everyone who just wants to smell good
Of course, the scent diffuser box is also simply for everyone who loves room scent but doesn't want to light a candle. In the office. In the bedroom. In the restroom. In the car. Anywhere a plug is missing or a flame would be out of place.
Our scent diffuser box comes with olive wood shavings. Diameter approx. 9 cm. Natural, no varnish.
